Key features of the MWR120 series include Y-axis stroke of +/- 60mm, direct drive with no gearboxes for less power loss, and 8,000 rpm live tooling in all stations. The built-in gantry automation is also available with a choice of single or dual gantries, depending on processing needs. The MWR120 enables work processing with complex shapes by incorporating Y-axis and live tooling function. This combination accelerates its extreme multitasking of complex shapes from raw to finished parts without changeovers or the need for secondary operations.  With a design based on automation at its core, Muratec’s MWR120 series is a first-of-its-kind, front-facing, horizontal twin spindle CNC live tool chucker lathe equipped with Y-axis function.

Our newest and most eco-friendly machine, the MW35 is an all-electric turning center that can create fasteners and other small parts in as little as three seconds! Additionally, MW35’s compact footprint provides the ultimate reduction in floorspace usage. All Electric Machine (No Hydraulics) Lightning-Fast Speeds With two spindles and a high-speed loader, the MW35 can deliver parts in 3 seconds or less. MW50

The compact, energy saving MW50 was developed to turn smaller parts with faster cycle times. Featuring two horizontal spindles, this machine can come equipped with one, or two of our high-speed gantry loaders. All machines in the MW Series are equipped with two spindles, which allows them to turn parts at a fast pace. Designed specifically to turn smaller parts, the MW50 reduces overall cycle time with its high-speed gantry, fast load/unload times, and reduced machine idle time.  For 50mm diameter parts, the MW50 delivers flexibility, versatility and a gang style tooling block for quick tool changes.

Based on a gang-tool platform and designed for increased productivity. The MW80 is equipped with two horizontal spindles and twin four-station tool blocks. The same lightning speed as the MW50, the MW80 can accommodate parts up to 80mm.

The MW120GII features a high-speed, lightweight gantry loader that offers significantly increased rapid traverse speeds in the X, Y, and Z axes. With this newly designed high-speed gantry loader, traverse speeds 1.5 times those of the traditional gantry loader can be achieved. The MW120GII twin spindle machine is designed for high rigidity with an enhanced headstock shape and X-axis linear guide.
